Frequently Asked Questions

How much is membership?

Membership is $20 for a single, $30 for a couple and $40 for a family. Fill out our membership application form and submit it to the club to book a place on a course.

How much are the classes?

Manners Training and Agility Foundations classes are $60 for a 6 week course, plus the appropriate membership fees.

When do the Manners classes start?

Manners Training intake dates for 2024 are March 5, April 23, June 11, July 30 and September 17. Classes run on Tuesday nights from 7 to 8pm.

When do the Agility classes start?

Agility Foundations intake dates for 2024 are March 12, April 30, June 18, August 6 and September 24. Classes run on Tuesday nights from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.

If you have more experience with agility, you are welcome to attend our Intermediate Agility classes on Tuesdays from 7:30pm, or even more experienced handlers are welcome at our Trialler/Pre-triallers training nights every Thursday, 6:30pm from March to October.

Where are your classes held?

We are at Freds Pass Reserve via the South Entrance on Bees Creek Road. There is a map at the entrance to the reserve which shows our location.

Our club is on Melville Way, the shed beside the main arena. Please be aware that the roads in Freds Pass Reserve have a speed limit of 10 and seatbelts must be worn while in a moving vehicle.

Are classes/trials cancelled for inclement weather?

Classes and trials will be cancelled if a Cyclone Warning is declared. If a Cyclone Watch is declared, or the more usual wet weather threatens, a text message will be sent to relevant members/triallers (using the mobile number that you provided on your membership form or trial entry form) letting you know that the class/trial is cancelled.

When do you hold agility trials?

We run trials roughly once a month during the dry season – refer to the Trialling page for further details.

How can I submit an entry for a trial?

All entries are via K9 Entries.
